Alison’s Tip
For all my cat owners out there- Cats are very consistent, routine animals. The do not like change, and generally stick to the same behaviors and life patterns. Whenever a cat is exhibiting any behaviors that are not “typical” of your pet, it is so important to have them evaluated by your veterinarian. Cats hide illness very well and changes in behavior may indicate sickness. Signs never to ignore in your cat;
- Changes in bathroom habits
- Changes in eating and drinking habits
- Hiding in unusual places
- Vocalizing more than usual
- Becoming more sedentary
- Changes in demeanor- becoming more aggressive or friendly
- Changes in weight
- Vomiting, increased hairballs, or diarrhea
- Changes in grooming habits
Katie’s Tip
Allergy season is here! If your child suffers from allergies, make sure to make an appointment with your pediatrician to create an action plan. Educate yourself of the different types of medications that can be used and make sure your doctor calculates out the right dosing. A great alternative to medications is warm compresses and steam.
Carrie’s Tip
If you are like me then you are horrible at doing your own nails. Whenever I even try to attempt a manicure it somehow looks like a 5 year old did it. So when I heard about spray paint nail polish, I was almost positive this wasn’t going to work! But it does. Here is where you can buy it.
