Alison’s Tip
Itching, hair loss, scabs, and flakes. Skin disease is THE MOST COMMON condition I see at my animal hospital. While we get runny nose, congestion, and itchy eyes in response to allergies, pets get itching skin and skin infections. 80% of my itching pets are reacting to an allergy. There are many things we can do to relieve your pet from itching. Please refer back to my blog, How to Help and Itchy Pet, and Apoquel for Dogs, for some great tips to relieve your pet from itching.

Each year in the US, more than 2,800 kids are treated in emergency rooms after swallowing button batteries. That’s one child every three hours.
