Must Haves For Your Labor Hospital Bag- Tips For The Week!
Alison’s Tip
These are my favorite, extremely useful unique kitchen tools I use all the time when I cook.
- Garlic Peel (simple, quick way to remove the peel from garlic) 2) Slicer (so helpful when the recipe calls for thin slices) 3) Chopping Scraper (easy way to transfer all your chopped ingredients to pots and pans) 4) Garlic Chopper (GENIUS and fast) 5) Laser Thermometer (for testing the temperature of your oil when frying or cooking- super helpful to prevent soggy food)
Katie’s Tip
I can’t believe the twins are finally coming!!! We are so excited to meet our new freckles! For all my moms-to- be, remember breastfeeding is natural, but it does not always come naturally to mothers. I can’t stress enough how important it is to utilize the lactation consultants while you are in the hospital. After the birth of both of my children, I had the hospital’s lactation consultant come for every feed to educate and guide me. A lactation consultant is not only a great resource to help with any difficulties you might experience during the first few days but also as a contact once you are discharged from the hospital.
