Tips For The Week!
Alison’s Tip
Maintaining your pet at a healthy weight is so important to their health and well being. Obesity in pets can lead to the same diseases that people get such as diabetes, cardiac disease, and joint pain and degeneration. Veterinarians assess pet’s body weight by using a body condition score chart. Your pet should be a 5/9 to be the ideal body condition score. Click on the FOLLOWING to review the chart and make sure your pet is maintaining a proper weight.
Katie’s Tip
Transitioning back to school after the holiday break can be difficult for any child, especially for a toddler. To make the transition easier, have your child help you prepare their school bag tonight. Make sure to start their nighttime routine early! At bedtime, start to talk about all the exciting things they are going to do while at school. If you have a book about school read it to them. I love Llama Llama Misses Mama. Make sure tomorrow morning to give a quick goodbye!
Carrie’s Tip
Blow drying, curling, styling, and color treatments during the holiday season can wreak havoc on your hair. Who wants to start the new year with dry and damaged hair? I love Pureology’s Hydrate Hydra Whip to help restore hydration and color vibrance. Also, Coconut oil is an amazing at home hair mask. Place a tablespoon of coconut oil in the microwave for 10 to 15 seconds, comb it throughout your hair, wait 15 minutes, and wash out.
