Tips For The Week!
Alison’s Tip
Store spices in a cool, dark place, not above your stove. Humidity, light and heat will cause herbs and spices to lose their flavor. So how long do dried spices lasts? The general rule is whole spices will stay fresh for about 4 years, ground spices for about 2 to 3 years and dried herbs for 1 to 3 years. To test whether a spice or herb is still good, rub or crush a small amount in your hand, then taste and smell it — if the aroma is weak and the flavor is not obvious, the herb or spice should be replaced.

Need some quick tips on how to make your legs look longer? Invest in some nude pumps. Having a pair of heels that resemble your skin tone can trick the eye in to not knowing where your shoe begins and the leg ends. You also may want to stick with darker colors for your bottoms. Black can be very flattering and elongate your legs. A third trick you can try is to match your shoe color to the color of your pants. Wearing different colors can divide your body into sections.
