Kid-Friendly DIY Milk Shots for New Year’s Eve
It’s hard to believe that another year has come and gone so quickly! We are days away from celebrating the new year. New Year’s Eve is one of our favorite holidays to keep low-key. You won’t find us partying in South Beach, but we still have a great time with family and friends! The kids even have a blast hanging with us, so today we wanted to share one of our traditional New Year’s Eve events with kids – DIY milk shots!
To keep the kids busy and feel included, here is a super easy and fun project to do with them on NYE. As the parents are sipping champagne, the kids now have a fun DIY that involves them in the NYE celebrations, too!
DIY New Year’s Eve Milk Shots for Kids
Ingredients:
- Milk – Dairy or non-dairy will do!
- Round Sprinkles
- White or Dark Chocolate – We found ours at Michaels in the candy aisle.
- Shot Glasses – We used mini mason jars and they were so cute!
Directions:
- Melt white or dark chocolate in a bowl in the microwave.
- Dip your shot glass upside down in the bowl of chocolate, so it sticks to just the top of the rim.
- Dip your shot glass in the bowl of sprinkles, so they stick to the rim of chocolate.
- Put shot glasses in the fridge for the chocolate to harden.
- Pour milk in, and you’re done!
