One of my favorite things to purchase when I go shopping is costume jewelry. My collection continues to grow, but mostly because my sisters always steal from me and I can’t seem to keep track of it all! People always ask where I shop for my accessories and how I know what to look for. Well, I’ve put together some tips that may help.
How to Choose Costume Jewelry
1. The first thing I check for is the quality of the piece. I won’t buy it if it’s light and flimsy. Cheaper pieces break very easily and you will end up wasting your money.
2. If it’s a more intricate piece with multiple stones, I look to see how well everything is fastened together. This is to ensure the stones won’t fall out the moment it’s worn.
3. Try to look for pieces that will stand out! The best way to enhance a basic outfit is to add colorful and vibrant jewelry. You can really pull your whole look together, especially with a great statement necklace!
