How to Wear Black, White, and Denim

Hope everyone had an amazing July 4th weekend! We certainly did. Of course my sister Alison threw an amazing and over the top BBQ as per her usual. Tons of food, sparklers and pool time with the kids. And although the Florida heat is starting to become a bit overwhelming as I am in my last 3 weeks of pregnancy, I am starting to see the end of the tunnel. The nursery is set, my car seat is in and now I can focus on the arrival of my little boy. And of course in between my sporadic urges to nest these days, I find myself surfing online for normal clothing. By normal, I mean anything but maternity clothes. I guess I am just a little excited to get back to my pre-baby weight. Maybe I am a bit premature, but it makes me feel better to even look!

Since I have been writing most of my recent blogs on babies and maternity clothing, I thought I would focus this week’s blog on some of my favorite trends. I am kind of obsessed with black and white right now. Plus, Alison has been bugging me to give her some clothing recommendations and I couldn’t let her go much longer without my assistance. Not sure what she would do without me?!

Black and white will always be staples to me. Chic, sophisticated, forever reliable and looks amazing when paired with denim. I would also steer away from adding an accent color when accessorizing. Overall, the combination of Black, White, and Denim will have a more drastic impact. Most of the items from my collage are from these websites: Asos, Nasty Gal or Zara. Incredible sales out there people! The summer is the perfect time to get great deals and order some amazing stuff online. Before all the pre-fall merchandise comes out, almost everything goes on sale.
