Valentine’s Day Breakfast – Waffle Bar for the Kids
Awwwww – the memories of Valentine’s Day “pre-children” – romantic plans for two, fancy dinners that needed reservations 2 weeks in advance, cute little notes of endearment, and maybe even a gift exchange. It’s fun to look back and remember the meaning of Valentine’s Day before we all had kids. Now, we look forward to family Valentine’s Day ideas.
The day is more about cards for school classmates, art projects with hearts, cute gifts and candy for the kids, and “kid friendly” celebrations and crafts. Even though times have changed, we all still LOVE this holiday! It’s all about teaching our kiddos to love and be loved. What better way to celebrate than with a Valentine’s Day Breakfast?
Have fun! Involve your kids. And make this holiday about more than just celebrating the love between you and your significant other.
Perhaps the way we all used to celebrate the day of love is different than the “pre-kid” days. But the meaning and significance is still the same.
For us, teaching our children what love means, having them understand how important love is, and celebrating with them has become just as fun as that romantic dinner for two.
So today, we are replacing that fine dining experience with one of our favorite family Valentine’s Day ideas – a cute Valentine’s Day breakfast for the kids. Your kids will love this adorable waffle bar. Enjoy celebrating all the wonderful, amazing, and inspiring qualities of LOVE…at all the different stages in your life.
No matter how you choose to celebrate Valentine’s Day this year, we wish you a beautiful day filled with lots of love and laughter!
