During this Memorial Day weekend please keep all people food away from your pets and ask guests not to feed them! We see many upset bellies at the veterinarian hospital during the holiday weekend!

Katie’s Tip

With the summer months here, I see many children in the ER for heat stroke and dehydration.  Did you know a child’s body surface area makes up a much greater proportion of their overall weight than an adult’s? This means that children are at a much greater risk for heat-related illness.  Please be careful during this time of year and learn clinical signs and how to prevent heat-related illness.  I love this article and tell my parents to refer to during the summer months.

Carrie’s Tip

If you do not already own a inner rim eyeliner pencil, invest in one now just for this simple trick! Instead of lining your water line with dark eyeliner, use an inner rim white or nude eyeliner pencil to create the illusion of a bigger eye.  I love the Tarte one.
