Alison’s Tip
If you hands smell from chopping garlic or onions, you can use mouthwash to get rid of the smell. Pour a few tablespoons into your palms, rub your hands together, and the smell will be gone. Happy Cooking!
Katie’s Tip
Radon is a radioactive gas that is released when uranium naturally breaks down in soil, rocks, and water. It is believed to be the leading cause of lung cancer in nonsmokers. 1 in 15 homes have a high level of Radon. It is important to get your home tested because you can’t smell it or see it so you won’t know if you are being exposed to it. There is an inexpensive test that is available at any home-improvement stores.
