Thanksgiving Looks
Hi Everyone!
OMG people…it’s hard to believe that Thanksgiving is only a few days away. This is by far my favorite holiday of the year. We even had a small cold front come in this morning, so it’s really starting to feel more and more like the holiday season. There is something about this day that has always meant so much to me. Waking up early to watch the parade, cooking with my mom, hanging out with family all day. Each year we do the same thing and it always brings back such great memories. Plus my mom’s stuffing is award winning and I seriously wait all year to eat it. There is no holding back when it comes to eating on T-Day. As I said yesterday, it is important to wear something comfortable! You can still look amazing, stylish and comfortable as you stuff tons of delicious food in your mouth lol. So to make things easier on you, here are 4 different outfits that are perfect for Thanksgiving dinner. Think flowy, loose, cozy and easy! I went with pants for all these looks but you certainly can wear a cute shirt, shift or swing dress. All of these styles are roomy and will be comfy to wear for the long day. If it’s cold outside, just wear some tights and a cute pair of boots. Here are some pics to give you some more inspiration…
Make sure to go online Friday for amazing Black Friday deals!!! Stay tuned because on Monday, I will be showing you some of my favorite sale items.
Outfit 1: {nude top, maroon pant, navy flats, nude bag, necklace}
*Don’t be afraid to mix colors like these maroon pants paired with navy flats
Outfit 2: {grey sweater, green pant, black flat, black bag, necklace}
Outfit 3: {yellow top, jeans, booties, watch, grey bag}
*I love combining multiple textures with prints. Here we have a lace top, quilted bag, distressed jeans and a printed shoe.
Outfit 4: {black lace top, turquoise earrings, black bag, leopard flats, jeans}
*Peplum tops are so flattering in my opinion. It cinches you at the waist and flares out right over your belly. For me that has always been one of the areas on my body that I have been more self conscious about…and with post baby belly…I am loving this style!
I also wanted to explain one thing to everyone about my blogs. These blogs aren’t for you to necessarily go out and buy everything in each of these outfits. I really just want to show you how to pull an entire look together. How colors match, how to match printed pieces, or how to combine colors and textures! Of course, I encourage you to shop, but it means a lot to me that I can help people learn how to put things together from what they already own. I have gotten such amazing feedback from people telling me how much these blogs have helped their style…which obviously makes me so happy 🙂
Happy shopping and have a great Thanksgiving everyone!
