Freckled Fridays! Ask the Stylist…Labor Day Edition

Question: Hi Carrie! Labor day weekend is a really special time for me and my family. It’s the official end of summer and a time we all treasure. We’re all preparing to get together and head out to the beach for the long holiday weekend. I am a bit panicked because I never know what to pack for these type of occasions! We have lots planned like fun beach days, BBQ nights and casual days hanging inside the house with my family. Do you have any suggestions on the main items I should pack?

Answer: Packing is always my favorite thing to do! I know for some it seems a bit overwhelming. I always love laying out the items I want to pack on my bed and making sure I have everything I need. For a weekend like this, where you are planning many different events, I highly recommend bringing some staple and versatile items. This way you can easily dress up or dress down when you need to. For beach trips, I suggest bringing some coverups that be worn to both the beach and to a quick lunch. I am obsessed with this Mara Hoffman romper!
