Style Like a Stylist!

Hey everyone! I absolutely love my job. Styling kids is not just a career for me, it’s a passion. I love being creative and putting together unique adorable looks for kids. Sometimes during my styling shoots, moms will come up to me and say, “I just would never have thought to put those pieces together.” That’s the key! I always like to look outside the box and come up with unique combinations that will ultimately make a complete outfit. Here are some great tips that I wanted to share with you to help you style your kids just like a stylist.

Tips

Mix prints that you wouldn’t necessarily put together (stars and stripes, camo and geo prints, floral and polka dots).
Invest in some fun bold pieces like colored denim, printed leggings, cool graphic tees, textured tops or funky sneakers.
For girls, mixing textures and prints is always a great combination. A ruffled top with a printed short. A crochet tank with a pleated skirt. An interesting flutter sleeve is one of my favorite types of tops for little girls.
For boys, they love to be comfortable. Cool cozy sweatpants are a must for boys. They always look so cute styled with slip on sneakers and a bright graphic tee shirt. Make sure the sweatpants have a tight hem around the ankle.
