This Queso Dip Recipe is a Super Bowl Party Must-Have
Hi Everyone,
It’s football season and we host a lot or we are at friend’s house watching the games. My husband and his friends are crazy, obsessive, over the top, insane football fans. I kind of have this love/hate relationship with football season. I love the parties, getting together with friends, the food, and of course the games, but the obsession and pre-occupation from my husband can sometimes get a bit crazy. Years back I took a queso dip to one of our parties and ever since its kind of taken on it’s own fan club. If the queso dip is not made, then we failed at hosting or are sent away from the party. The queso dip recipe has become so popular that I pretty much make it for all of our parties.
The ingredients are:
1 1/2 pound of lean ground beef
8 ounce container of salsa
10 3/4 oz. can of cream of mushroom soup
1 pound of pasteurized cheese
1 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsp of chili powder
Cook the ground beef in a soup pot over medium heat until cooked through (about 8 minutes)
Drain the fat.
Mix in the rest of the ingredients.
Cook over low heat until the cheese is melted and warmed through.
Serve warm with tostito chips (we serve it in a mini crock pot to keep it warm during the entire game).
I promise this will be a recipe you will make over and over and get lots of requests for. I hope you try it out and I would love to hear your feedback in the comments section!
ENJOY!!!
I’d try any recipe from this cook!
