Alison’s Tip
As pets age they can slow down and have a difficult time getting up, running, jumping, playing, and may even limp. This is very common to see and most likely due to arthritis- or degenerative joint disease. There are many steps we can take to help our pets get around more easily and be more comfortable. The following are the top things I do to help my aging pets with arthritis; 1) Pain relievers such as NSAID’s 2) Natural supplements- Glucosamine Chondroitin Sulfate, and Adequan 3) Maintain your pet at a thin weight 4) Cold laser therapy 5) Acupuncture. Make sure to speak with your veterinarian and set up a proper medical plan for your pet.

Hey loves, there is no one that loves a christmas tree more than my twin sister, Alison. However no one loves the tree sap that is left behind. It is impossible to get off fabric and rugs. Here are some great tips on how to get that stubborn tree sap out.
On fabric: Start by using Guardsman. Dab a little onto the stain and wait until it drys. In a bowl, combine 1 cup bleach-free liquid laundry detergent with a dash of ammonia. Apply the solution to the tree sap and wait for 30 minutes. Wash in the warmest water safe for that particular fabric.
On the rug: If you have a wool rug, first try scraping it off using a with a spoon, use wool clean spot remover for the rest of the stain. Goof off is great for a synthetic rug. Blot the tree sap with diluted dish soap and goof off. Wait a few minutes, then rinse with hot water. Blot dry.

Happy Christmas Week everyone! I am just about finished with all my holiday shopping…thank god!
